Bears Take Game 1 in Extra Innings....

CPBL
The LA New Bears won Game One of the Championship Series 4-3 over the President Lions. A clutch hit by Chih-Wei Shih scored Chin-Feng Chen in the bottom of the 11th inning to give the Bears the series lead. Chen was 2-3 with 2 walks and 2 SB's. As for the starting pitching, the matchup between Wu and Pan did not live up to the pregame hype. Wu pitched 3 innings for the Bears, giving up 3 runs on 4 hits. He had 2 K's and 2 walks allowed. Pan fared better as he threw 6 innings, giving up 3 runs on 6 hits, to go along with 5 K's and 3 walks. Both starters earned a ND.
Game 2 takes place tomorrow.
