Amateur:
Taiwan lost to Cuba 2-0 in the championship game at the WPT. The game was very close (just like the previous two games), although Cuba was able to come through in the clutch when it mattered the most. Box A second place finish to Cuba ain't too shabby!

Taiwan finished 3rd in the World Boys Baseball Tournament beating SD, USA 10-2.



MLB:
CMW will pitch tomorrow against Jeremy Guthrie and the Baltimore Orioles.



US MINORS:
A - Greenville won 3-2. Chiang was 1-3. Box

AAA - Vegas lost 13-8. Hu was 1-5 with a double and a RBI. Box



NPB:
The Tigers won 5-1. WC Lin hit his 14th HR and was 1-5 with 3 RBI's. Box



CPBL:
Bulls 20 - Elephants 7: With 32 hits between the two teams, surprisingly none of those hits were home runs. Game MVP went to Bulls SP Alfredo Gonzalez who won his 7th game - pitching 7 innings, allowing 3 runs on 7 hits - to go along with K's and 3 BB's. With so many hits in the game, I'll just name how the notables did in the game: Tarzan was 2-6 with 2 RBI's while Chia-Chia was 0-2 with a walk.

Whales 5 - Cobras 3: Yu-Chieh Shen picked up win #4 and game MVP honors after allowing 3 runs on 6 hits over 5 IP. Carlos Villalobos led the way with a 3-5 double and 2 RBI night. CH Hsieh was 1-4 with a double for the Cobras.
