Bears Up 2-0....

In a tightly contested game 2, the LA New Bears defeated the President Lions today by a score of 6-5. The Bears came from behind, trailing 5-3 in the 8th inning, with some clutch hitting by Chih-Sheng Lin, who was 2-5 with 2 RBI's - and F.M. Chen. After knotting up the score at 5 runs apiece in the 8th, the stage was set for the Bear's Feng-Ming Chen's GWRBI in the bottom of the 9th inning. F.M Chen was the game MVP with a 2-4/2 RBI night. The Lions were very careful with slugger Chin-Feng Chen, as he was 1-2 with 3 walks for the Bears.
The pivotal game 3 will take place Tuesday, as the Bears seek to stake a commanding lead in the series. Rookie Ying-Feng Tsai is expected to start for the Bears on Tuesday.

Other News:
Great news for amateur baseball in Kaohsiung, Taiwan: The city's mayor pledged more money to help fund baseball programs in the area. I guess we can thank Chien-Ming Wang for helping to make this possible!
