Strong Words from Chen...

*Per Taiwanese news reports, Cubs minor leaguer RHP Hung-Wen Chen has stated that if he doesn't get put on the 40 man roster, he'll quit and seek an opportunity to play in the NPB or CPBL. He said that the most important thing about playing baseball is being happy, however that has not happened while playing for the Cubs and he feels that he doesn't get any respect from his MLB organization.  Chen also said that he hit the Korean catcher during the gold medal game at the Asian Games intentionally as he was upset at how the Korean team reacted after hitting the 2-run HR off LHP KY Chen.

*Amateur 1B Shen-Fu Tsai went to a tryout with the Chiba Lotte Marines and said that he may get a contract offer.

*Lefty Wei-Yin Chen may get his opportunity to jump to the US after next season.
