Today's News.....

Over in Taiwan, Chin-Feng Chen was back in action. Chen had been out ~ 2 weeks with an abdominal strain injury. Chen went 2-4 in his return with 2 SB's. NEWS

In Japan, Hsu pitched his 3rd game in 4 days. Hsu faced off against Yakult again and fared better. He pitched the last 2 innings, giving up only 1 hit - a solo HR, while K'ing 2. Box

Meanwhile in MLB news, Chien-Ming Wang is scheduled to face off against Barry Zito of the A's in the opener of the home series for the Yanks on Friday. Wang faced off against the A's earlier this year and received a no decision. This will be a tough matchup for Wang.

In the minors, Kuo pitched to one hitter in the 8th inning and got the batter to fly out. Box

In Jacksonville, Hu went 1-2 with a walk and a sacrifice. Box

Yung-Chi Chen continues to swing a hot bat for Inland Empire. Despite his team's loss in extra innings, Chen was 2-5 at the plate with a double, a RBI, and a walk. Chen was caught trying to steal a base in the first inning, but later redeemed himself by stealing his 11th base of the season in the top of the 9th inning. Box
