Here's a nicely written article on Tang. It sounds as if it's only a matter of time before a MLB organization signs him.
Thurs. Minor League Action:
Hu's on fire.....going 2-4 with 2 runs scored and a RBI. Better yet, his team won. Box
Lo pitched well enough to win for Modesto. But the defense behind him and the relief pitching let him down. Lo lasted 6 innings, giving up 7 hits, 5 runs - of which only 3 were earned, and K'd 5 batters while walking 2. He earned a no-decision. Box
Last I checked, Chen was 1-4 on the night with a RBI, a run scored, and 1 walk. Box
The MWL selected it's all-stars recently. Cheng and Keng from Lansing were NOT selected.

thanks for the update,
I watched the game yesterday, and I like this kid a lot!
Wish him the best in his pursuit of a MLB dream.
BTW, the article says Tang is heading SF for a TV interview? Anyone know what that is?
I was impressed by Tang - no doubt. I'm just surprised that when the Boston Red Sox were mass signing HS kids out of Taiwan, how they overlooked this kid. Can't wait to see how Chiang and Huang do over here in rookie ball.
What the hell was the writer talking about, when he said that an international MLB draft would occur in July? There's no such thing.
Dunno anything about the SF TV interview.
