MINORS:
Chin-Lung Hu was named the Dodgers Minor League Player of the Year. Congrats to Hu! It looks like he will be joining YC Chen and CL Lo in the Arizona Fall League.

Well, I'm watching Fox-Prime and it looks like CL Hu will be getting his first career MLB start against Arizona today. Box Score*UPDATED*

good start for Lin En Yu. He's had a pretty disappointing season in Japan. Great job for Hu for getting the Dodgers minor league of the year. Glad he's getting a a start today... but, why will he be joining Chen Yung Chi in the Arizona Fall League?

I'm pretty sure that the Dodgers brass wanted to get Hu some more quality AB's after the season is over - some of the top young talent in the game will be in the AFL.

So assuming YC Chen & CL Hu (& CL Lo - although he was not listed on the preliminary NT roster) all play in the AFL for the entire season, that would effectively remove them from playing in the World Cup.

As for Yang's est. return...nothing official yet, but I'd probably bet against him recovering in time for the World Cup (Nov.6th - 18th)- the kid has his whole career in front of him to think about.
