PONY:
Palomino World Series Championship Game: Kyle Chapman/Houston, TX blasted Taiwan 14-1 yesterday in San Jose. The game was a rematch of last year's two finalists, with similar results (KC/Houston, Tx 14 - Taiwan 3).




AA Youth WC:
In its first warm-up game prior to the opening of the World Youth Championships, Taiwan defeated the USA 8-3. A few of last year's Pony League World Series stars factored in the win: 3B Lee-Jen Chu was 2-4, 3B, 3 RBI at the plate while P Lee-Wei Chiang picked up the W (1 IP, 1 R, 2 H, 2 K's, 1 BB).
