According to today's (Nov. 8, 2009) Nikkan Sports, Cheng will be earning 21 million yen in 2010, up by 1 million yen over 2009. The other figure matched the Nikkan Sports report.
At least those who commented on the article regarding Wong showed a consensus that they'd like to see him around and give him another shot to redeem himself. But only time will tell what the Yanks front office will do. Unfortunately, everything went south for Wong at the worst time, we can only hope for the best (but then again, it's not like he can't be successful again with another team)

Thanks for that update Westbaystars.
Will be interesting to see what the Yankees will do and what direction Wang and his camp decide to go in.
