wang lost... the yanks offense couldnt really get going and wang gave up a few runs earlier on.... he settled down later though and fanned a career high 6 in 8 innings. he also walked 3 or 4. seems that Wang is experimenting with his breaking balls - his slider and changeup seem to be improving alot and he's becoming more of a strikeout pitcher. he still needs to work on his control though( as seen by the 3 or 4 walks he had). I gotta say though, its nice to see Wang actually striking out people, a strikeout pitch could only help Wang's sinker focused repertoire. Could use it to get himself out of jams.

am I the only one who believes a pitcher's W-L record is a useless stat?
