Jumping Ship....

CSMG, a sports management conglomerate that represents most of the top Taiwanese baseball players in the US, will be representing Chin-Hui Tsao. Tsao's former agent was Scott Boras.
Tsao made some more news when it was announced that he signed a 2008 minor league contract with the KC Royals.

To help pass the time, I've added a few more player site links. Check 'em out.

Any news on Chien Ming Wangs contract renewal?

Provided he's healthy, this gives Tsao a great shot at making a ML club in ST.

Wang was offered salary arbitration by the Yankees. Arbitration hearings are usually held in Feb. However if both sides (player/agent vs. team) come to a financial agreement before then, we'll hear about the deal b4 Feb. There is some speculation that Wang (based on his past track record) is worth at least $3 million a season. What is a given is the fact that Wang is set for a huge pay increase - and will become the first Taiwanese baseball player to make a 7 figure salary annually.

Provided, Tsao stays healthy throughout the season, he could very well end up becoming a bargain buy steal for the Royals out of relief.

Also, props to the site and all the great work here. I see also over at Rotoworld, one of the top websites for fantasy sports, has cited this website on Tsao's signing.
