With the loss, Taiwan falls a half game behind the US in Group A and will now play Italy, the surprise of the pool so far, on Monday. En-Yu Lin will start for Taiwan.

Baseball America is listing the Mariners as having signed RHP Yao-wen Chang. Do you know anythign about him? I can't seem to find any info.

You do realize that Park's contract only have slim chance of making the team out of Spring Training right?
Teams often pick up cheap veterans to booster up their AAA staff, I guess just because it was a Korean guy instead of a Taiwanese guy getting signed, you had to complain. I would like to know if you are the one who supply Coletti his drugs.
By the way, Tsao wasn't dropped, he can go to AAA and earn his way back to the Major League like Park, or he is welcome to sign with any other team he wants to if he feels like he has nothing left to prove in the Minor League.
I don't know the details of Park's contract, was it minor league? All the info I had from the article, which indicated that LA dropped an injury-prone but talented P for someone who's all but done.
