7-0 Win for the NT on 8-8-08....

The NT shut out the Lions behind Lions ace Wei-Lun Pan's strong start. Pan shut out his teammates over 5 innings, allowing 4 hits while K'ing 3 and walking 2. His relievers would hold the Lions hitless over the last 4 innings.

In the opening game for Taiwan at the Palomino League World Series, the team won a close game 7-6 over the US - East Zone winners (Proehlific Power).

In the Bronco League World Series, Taiwan moved to 2-0 as it defeated St. Joe's, IL 10-0.
