Friday Recap.....

US MINORS:
R - Chih-Hsiang Wen was 1-5 with 4 K's in his debut with the AZL Cubs. The Cubs won 9-7. Box

*More on Wen: In the 2007 Spring League Tournament (Senior level), Wen hit .333 in 69 AB's. He had 3 doubles, 2 triples, 0 HR's, 13 RBI's, 11 SB's, & 19 K's/9 BB.

As for Wen's teammate HW Chen - he will need to completely shut things down for 2 weeks because of fatigue to his throwing arm - he will be reevaluated then.

A ss - YF Lin pitched a scoreless 8th inning, allowing 1 hit and K'ing 2 as Williamsport lost 5-1. Box

A - Lansing won 8-5 vs Wisky. Keng pitched the 9th inning and allowed 1 run (via a HR) on 1 hit - he did have 2 K's to end the inning. Box

A - Greenville lost 1-0. Chiang was 0-1 with a K. Box

Chinese Taipei Little League will return to Williamsport once again after blowing out CNMI 12-0!!! I'm looking forward to watch our boys playing in the world series :)
