Sunday Scores...

AAA - Hu has been tearing things up since being called up to AAA. The confidence he's gained from a good first half showing in AA and at the Futures All-Star game is evident as he hit his 3rd HR (in 4 games) in AAA and was 3-4 with 2 RBI's today. Vegas won 6-5 Box

Here's a good read on Hu from the LVRJ.

A - Greenville lost 11-5. Chiang was 1-4 with a double. Box

A - Lansing beat Wisky 6-2. KH Lo finally returned to the lineup and was 1-4. Keng pitched a scoreless 9th inning for Lansing. Box

A ss - Kuo started for Tri-City and lasted only 4 innings - he allowed 4 runs on 4 hits and gave up a HR. Kuo is in line to take the loss as Tri-City is down 4-0 in the 6th inning. Box

R - CH Lin hit his 2nd HR of the season, he was 2-5 with a RBI and another OF assist - gunning down a runner at home. Huang was 0-4 with 3 K's. The Red Sox lost 8-3. Box

Other - WY Lin who is out for the season - will need Tommy John surgery per Taiwan news reports. Lin was making great progress prior to his injury - clocking up to 90-91 mph on his fb recently - remember 2 years ago, prior to being converted to a full-time pitcher, he was topping out in the high 70's.

Tsao is back on the DL - Kuo is out indefinitely. *Updated*

WC Lin was 2-4 with a double and a RBI as his club lost to the Dragons 6-3. Box

Lions 9 - Elephants 2: Pete Munro was game MVP, winning his 8th game of the season. Munro pitched 7 innings, allowing 1 run (none earned) on 5 hits to go along with 5 K's. Tilson Brito supported Munro with his 24th HR of the season - he was 1-4 with 3 RBI's. Teammate Kuo-Ching Kao was 2-4 with 2 RBI's. For the Elephants, Chia-Chia was 1-3 with a RBI.

Bears 6 - Bulls 5: Despite Tarzan hitting his 10th HR of the season (he was also 3-4 with a double), the Bears would prevail on some clutch hitting from game MVP OF Chin-Deh Yu who was 3-4 with a RBI. Teammate CFC was 2-4 with a double and a RBI, while 3B Chin-Ping Lin was 2-3 with his 2nd HR of the season and 2 RBI's.

CK Lee pitched in relief for the Bucs as they lost 7-4 Sunday. Lee allowed 1 run on 3 hits over 3.2 IP. Box/PlayByPlay
