*Samuel Fu (IBB) is a busy man these days. One of his clients, Taiwan PE college (Fubon Bulls) OF Min-Tzu Chen is coming to Los Angeles for a showcase next week. Check out Chen's blog here/album. Chen (#25) was on the collegiate NT roster this past year that participated in Haarlem (hit .318) and in Czechoslovakia (hit .226). The 18 year old (12-6-89) has good size - 6'2"/198 pounds (B: R/T: R) and is an alumni of Taitung PE HS (Chia-An Huang's alma mater). He has a decent bat with power potential - speed is his best tool *Updated
Another one of his clients, RHP Chia-Rui Mai - Brother Elephants rookie and the club's top pick in the 2007 draft, is going to try out with MLB teams next week.
Joining Mai and Chen in LA will be P Ying-Shan Wang. The 6'1" - 6'2" righty tops out at 91 mph and sits at 86-89 mph.*Updated
*The top overall pick from the 2007 draft, 3B Yi-Chuan Lin has reiterated on his blog that he will not be joining the CPBL.

Disappointing...... you'd expect more offense from the UP711 Lions.
