The Tigers mauled the Giants 15-2 behind a 22 hit attack. WC Lin was 3-6 with a RBI for the Tigers while CM Chiang pitched 2 innings of relief for the Giants, allowing 2 runs on 4 hits. Box

R - The Red Sox beat the Reds 17-4. CH Lin was 2-6, hitting HR #4 and a triple, while driving in 1. CH Huang was 1-5 with a double and a RBI. Box

AMATEUR:
Taiwan lost to the Netherlands 4-0 in the WPT. The team managed only 3 hits against Leon Boyd, who pitched a CG. Box Taiwan plays Japan tomorrow.
CPBL:
Bears 12 - Whales 1: Andrew Lorraine won his first start with the Bears, allowing 1 unearned run on 5 hits over 6 IP. He received plenty of run support from game MVP Long-Yi Huang who was 3-5 with HR #7, a double and 3 RBI's as well as CFC who missed hitting for the cycle by a single - CFC was 3-4 with HR #18, a double, a triple, and a RBI. CS Lin was 2-5 with a triple and a RBI.
Lions 8 - Bulls 2: Brian Reith remains undefeated in the CPBL, running his record to 6-0 after allowing 2 runs on 7 hits over 7 IP. Backing Reith on the offensive end was: Tilson Brito who was 2-5 with a double and a RBI, game MVP KC Kao who was 4-4 with 3 RBI's, and Lien-Hung Chen who hit HR #8 and drove in 2 (he was 1-2). Tarzan was 0-4 for the Bulls.
