Whales 6 - Bulls 3: Whales lefty Fu-Te Ni improved his record to 2-3 after a nice outing against the Bulls. Ni allowed 2 runs on 6 hits over 5.1 IP (5K's, 3BB's). His opposing mound mate Chien-Fu Yang didn't fare as well, allowing 6 runs (2 earned) on 7 hits in 2.2 IP. Yang's record falls to 1-3 on the year.
Game MVP honors went to Whales 1B Chia-Hsien Tseng who was 2-2 with a double and 3 RBI's. Here's how Tseng's teammates fared: 2B Yi-Min Wang was 1-3 with a RBI/ C Yi-Wei Lee was 2-4/ RF Abraham Nunez was 1-5/ 3B Carlos Villalobos was 0-5.

Lions 9 - Elephants 3: The Lions gained a half game on the idle Bears as Tilson Brito continued his power surge. TB earned game MVP honors after he launched his 5th HR of the year and was 2-3 with a double and 4 RBI's. Lions starter Yueh-Ping Lin earned his 2nd win of the year (2-0) after allowing 1 run on 3 hits over 5 IP (3K's, 5BB's).
Other Lions of note: CF Sung-Hsien Yang was 1-4 with a RBI/ RF Fu-Hao Liu was 2-4 with a RBI/ 1B KC Kao was 1-4/ 2B Sen Yang was 1-3/ DH Tai-Chi Kuo was 1-4 with a RBI/ IF Tzu-Sung Wang was 1-2 with a RBI.
Losing for the first time this year was Elephants starter Yu-Cheng Liao (4-1). He gave up 5 runs on 6 hits in 5 IP (4K's, 4BB's).
