*Despite all of the negative implications from the gambling scandal, the crowd came out in full force for the playoffs. The 2008 Taiwan Series set an all-time record for total attendance (with 96,825) by smashing the previous record of 86,696 set in 2003 between the Bulls and Elephants (a Series won in 6 games).
The Lions will now prepare for the Konami Cup taking place Nov. 13th - 16th.

i hope the lions don't disappoint at the konami cup. last year was a disaster.
Agreed, they were an offensive juggernaut during the regular season and through out the CPBL playoffs. Was shocked by the blowout loss to the Wyverns - looks like they'll get another shot at it this year against them.
