ND for Kuo...

Majors
Hong-Chih Kuo can thank his lucky stars for a ND tonight against the Giants. In the top of the 9th inning, the Dodgers tied the game 3-3 on Olmedo Saenz's pinch hit RBI. Kuo only lasted 5 innings tonight, giving up 3 runs on 8 hits. He also had no walks and 6 K's. Down 3-0 and with the opposing pitcher dominating the Dodgers lineup, it looked like a sure loss for Kuo. But thankfully, JD Drew cracked a 2 run shot and Saenz's heroics lifted Kuo off the hook. The bright spot tonight for Kuo was K'ing Barry Bonds twice: once on a beautiful curve ball and the second time on an offspeed pitch. Kuo was clocked around 90 to 94 mph on his heater tonight. As I type, the Dodgers are now up 4-3 heading into the bottom of the 9th. This is a huge game for the Dodgers playoff aspirations: if they win, they catch up to the Padres for the NL West lead and maintain their wildcard lead on the Phillies.

CPBL
Chin-Feng Chen jacked his 21st HR of the season against the Elephants in his team's 8-4 loss today. Chen trails Chang by 1 in the HR department.

Pitcher En-Yu Lin of the Cobras experienced right elbow pain in his last outing on Wednesday. Hopefully nothing serious here.

Chang Chih-Chia was released by the Seibu Lions today for sucking too much this season.

apparently because of some thing with contracts and stuff, he will be part of the La New Bears.

it seems like all these past prospects are coming back to taiwan now.

First is was Chen Chin-Feng, then it was Kevin Huang, and now it looks like Chang will be joining them too. i wonder if this is a good thing or a bad thing.

Well, if the players are able to impart some of what they learned overseas to the younger generations, then it can be a good thing.

The only bad thing is that both Huang and Chang are kinda washed up....fans don't get to see what these guys are/were capable of.....

Chang wasn't sucking too much, he was unable to fully recover from injury. Saying that he got released because he sucked doesn't serve any justice to what this 26-year old is capable of with an healthy body. Please be more sensitive with your choice of word.
