Tuesday Roundup....

Minors:
Only one game to recap tonight: In A ball, Chiang was 2-5 with a triple, 3 RBI's, and a run scored. Lowell won 14-7. Box

The season is effectively over for the majority of Taiwanese kids as the minor league playoffs have begun. A few players will be making post-season appearances with their respective ball clubs: Hu with the Jacksonville Suns, and Cheng and Keng with the Lansing Lugnuts.

Majors:
Hong-Chih Kuo will get his first career MLB start against the NY Mets this Friday. That will be a tough debut against the National League's best team. Kuo will be matched up against John Maine. It looks like the 4:10 PM Pacific game will be broadcast on ESPN/KCAL.

I am excited about this game. Kuo can put up some impressive numbers when he can command his pitches.

This is a great opportunity for Kuo to showcase his talent to the rest of America in a nationally televised event. I'm pumped too!

They are already pumping this up (The Taiwan media). I'll settle for a "quality start" against the Mets.
