MLB SIGNING:

MH Tsai

Meng-Hsiu Tsai's signing with the Braves was made public today with a press conference in Taiwan. He reportedly received a $100K signing bonus and supposedly drew interest from the Red Sox, Twins, and Mariners. He has a pop time of 1.98 - which would grade out as an average tool on the ML level. Tsai's idols are Yankees C Jorge Posada and La New Bears OF/DH CFC. He is scheduled to go to Australia in July and then the Dominican Republic in September. 2009 will be his ETA in the US.

Bulls 8 - Bears 6: Responding to the Bears' two stars (CFC and Chih-Sheng Lin) launching home runs, the Bulls surprised the Bears with their own power outburst - cracking 3 solo HR's in the 6th inning. Fu-Jen Shen earned his 3rd win of the year (3-5) after holding the Bears to 2 runs on 5 hits in 5 IP (2K's, 4BB's). Bears starter Yu-Wei Hsu (1-3) was on the losing end of things (5IP, 5ER, 8H, 2K's, 0BB's).
