Wang was 0-3 at the plate and appeared to injure his right foot rounding 3rd base in the 6th inning. Only time will tell how serious the injury is. Box

With an injury to starter Brad Penny, HC Kuo may get an opportunity to start again.

After rain delayed everthing by a day, things returned to normal as last year's two finalists earned their way back to the championship game. Taipei County (Ban-Chiao) will seek to avenge last year's loss to Taoyuan County.
Taipei County defeated Tainan City 7-0, led by Wei-Chen Wang's 3 hits (3-5, including a triple and 2 RBI's) in one semifinal.
Taoyuan County squeaked by Taitung County 4-2 in the other semifinal. The gold and bronze medal games will take place tomorrow.
