2006 World University Baseball Championships Roster & Update

Sidearm Thrower: Chen-Chang Lee

Two pitchers were cut from the 24 man list that participated in the Holland Tournament to finalize the roster below (22 players).

After 2 games, Taiwan is currently undefeated in their pool play. Taiwan beat Mexico today 7-2, despite using 5 pitchers and giving up 2 HR's. Taiwan was down 1-0 until the bottom of the 6th inning when CF Chen-Yu Chung blasted a 3 run HR to give Taiwan a lead it would not relinquish again. Chung was the star of the game, going 3-4 with a 2B, a HR, and 3 RBI's. 1B Fu-Jen Shen chipped in 2 more RBI's with a 1-4 day at the plate. C Yi-Wei Lee was 2-4 with a double and a run scored. As for the pitching, 5 pitchers (C.F. Chen, C.M. Wang, K.C. Lin, C.W. Lin, C.J. Lo) combined for 8 hits, 2 runs allowed (on solo shots), struck out 7 and walked 2 batters. Ko-Chien Lin got the win, throwing 3.2 perfect innings. Taiwan plays the Virgin Islands tomorrow and has a good chance of being undefeated before it plays it's final preliminary game against the US.

Chen-Chang Lee had a 93mph at the Haarlem Baseball Cup, he reached the 91 mph several times.
Where do i find the statistics for this tournament ?
