Well, it just wasn't meant to be. Taiwan lost for the 9th consecutive time to the US tonight in the championship game of the WUBC. The US showed off it's offensive prowess tonight by scoring 18 runs on 22 hits!!!!! Taiwan managed to score 9 runs of it's own, but in the end it didn't matter as the US defended it's WUBC Title. Congrats to the US - there's gonna be quite a few kids from this US team that we'll be seeing shortly in the Major Leagues - what a talented, prospect-laden team!!! However, I couldn't be prouder of our guys!!! Congrats on a great showing in this tourney!

A - Modesto is currently winning 9-7 in the 8th inning. Lo is in line to win his 10th game of the season despite getting hit hard. Lo went 6 innings, giving up 8 hits - 2 HR's and 7 runs, with 1 walk and 7 K's. Box/Game Log
R - In the GCL, the Red Sox won 3-2. Chiang was 1-3 with a RBI. He committed his 10th error of the season in the field as well. Box
