Tuesday Wrap....

Elephants 7 - T-Rex 4: Elephants starter Dan Core won his 5th game of the year (5-2) after holding the Rex to 4 runs on 5 hits in 7 IP (1K, 5BB's).
Rex SP Chia-Hung Chen lost his 7th game of the year (1-7) after lasting only 1 inning (5R, 4ER, 7H, 0K's, 1BB).

Bears 4 - Lions 1: Two of the league's top foreign pitchers faced off with the Bears' Mike Johnson triumphing over Lou Pote thanks to CFC's big blast in the 5th inning to break a 1-all tie. MJ continues his unblemished run and is now 13-0. He allowed 1 run on 6 hits over 6 IP (6K's, 4BB's).
Lou fell to 10-2 after allowing 3 runs on 9 hits over 5.2 IP (8K's, 3BB's).

Collegiate NT:

The NT was swept by the US collegiate NT after falling 5-3 last night. The good news (if any)? Chih-Lung Huang and Chia-Jen Lo combined to throw 3 shutout innings (with 3 K's).
The same two teams will meet again on July 10th in the Haarlem Baseball Week Tourney.

The Tigers won 8-3. WC Lin was 3-4 with a BB. Box

The Lions won 12-7. MC Hsu pitched 1.2 scoreless innings. Box

R - The GCL Tigers are down 3-1 in the 7th. CT Tang is 1-3 with a BB. Box

A - Lansing won 9-6. CH Cheng started, allowing 4 runs (3 ER) on 5 hits over 4.2 IP (5K's, 3BB's) in earning a ND. Box

HC Kuo faced two batters in the 7th before being pulled - he K'd 1 and walked the other batter who came around to score later in the inning - Kuo was charged with the ER. The Dodgers and Astros are tied at 6 in the 7th. Box
