Saturday Recaps...

Majors:
Kuo pitched the final 2.2 innings for the Dodgers in the team's 9-2 loss to in-state rival - the LA Angels. In the 6th inning, Kuo came on in relief of Aaron Sele with the bases loaded and one out. He promptly walked Chone Figgins to plate a run for the Angels. Next, a fielder's choice scored the second run in the inning for the Angels, before Kuo finally ended the inning with a flyout.
In the 7th inning, Kuo gave up a solo HR to Napoli, for his only earned run in the game.
Kuo gave up 2 more singles in the 8th, and 0 earned runs, although a Matt Kemp throwing error did allow the Angels to score their 9th and final run.
Kuo's final line: 2.2IP 3H 2R - 1ER 1K 1 BB 1 HR

Wang will start for the Yankees on Monday the 3rd when he goes against the Indians. He will have a good opportunity to win his 9th game of the season as he faces off against rookie Jeremy Sowers (0-1 7.20ERA)

Minors:
AA -Jacksonville lost 5-2. Hu was 0-4 and was also picked off at 1B.
San Antonio won 8-4 in extra innings. Chen did well in his first AA game. He hit his first HR at that level and was 2-5 with a RBI and a run scored.

A - Lansing won 14-4. Keng pitched the the last 2 innings and gave up 0 hits, 0 runs, with 1 walk and o K's.

A ss - Everett lost game 2 to divisional leader Salem-Keizer 7-1. Lo was 1-3 while Wu DNP.

Rookie - In the GCL, the Red Sox lost 6-2. Chiang and Huang played together at 2B and 3B for the first time this season. Huang was 0-2 with a walk, while Chiang was the star of the day. He was 2-2 with a triple and more impressively he stole his first base of the season when he swiped home in the 6th inning.

Alaska:
No Chu for the second night in a row for the Goldpanners as they faced off against Luo of the Anchorage Bucs. Luo pitched 6.0 innings, giving up only 1 earned run on 2 hits, with 5 K's and 1 walk. He was credited with the win. Box

Japan - Friday's results:
Hsu started for Seibu and didn't last very long. He only pitched 3.1 innings, gave up 8 hits and 3 runs. He took his 3rd loss of the season. Box
