Tuesday Scoreboard....

CPBL:
Lions 4 - Whales 2: Despite being outhit 10-5, the Lions came up big behind some clutch hitting from game MVP - 1B KC Kao. Kao hit his 4th HR of the year (a 2-run shot) to help erase a 2-run deficit in the 7th and then drove in the go-ahead runs in the 8th to help power his team to the W. KC was 2-4 with a double, a HR, and 4 RBI's. RF Fu-Hao Liu collected 2 of the team's other hits and was 2-4. Earning a ND for the Lions was starter Wei-Lun Pan, who was seeking his 20th consecutive regular season win without a loss (after starting the year 0-2 in 2007, Pan reeled off 16 consecutive W's). Pan allowed 2 runs on 7 hits in 6 IP (3K's, 1BB).

The Dodgers are currently leading the Mets 5-4 in the 7th inning. HC Kuo relieved SP Hiroki Kuroda and is now in line to get the W, should the Dodgers hold on. Hu got the start today in place of an injured furcal. He is 0-3 right now. He reached base once on a fielding error. Kuo is pitching in relief for Starter Hiroki Kuroda who gave up 4 runs in 3 innings of work. Kuo is off to a good start, pitching 2.2 innings of 1 walk (7 STRIKEOUT!) ball. Im watching the gamecast and his fastest heater was clocked at 98 today! I thought he only pitched in the low 90s nowadays. you think the radar gun is hot?

I think I heard Vin Scully say that Kuo hit at least 93. The reading on the tv (FSW) had him topping out at 94-95 mph. Kuo should face the Mets more often!

Wong didn't really do that bad tonight, but the Yankees' hitting line up weren't able to string their hits together as they were blanked by Cliff Lee and the Indians bullpen staffs. Wong pitched 7 innings giving up 3 runs on 5 hits, 3BB's, and 4K's while earning his first loss of the season.

Yea, those numbers would've been good enough to win on most nights.....it's all good, the King will brush this one off and bounce back.
