Originally selected to to the '09 Youth NT, he will not be playing in the upcoming World Youth Championships due to an undisclosed injury. His younger brother, C Chin-Lung Chang - 15, will be playing for the '09 Youth NT.
Another brother, Yu-Cheng Chang, will be representing the country in the Pony League World Series (13 and 14 year olds).
