It's all-star weekend in the CPBL. The Lions' Tilson Brito put on a power display: easily winning the HR derby on Saturday - he crushed 27 home runs in the final round (46 total over 4 rounds: 10 in round 1, 5 in the next round, & 4 in the semifinals) to beat T-Rex veteran slugger Chia-Hsien Hsieh (had only 5 dingers in the final round).

The AS game will take place tomorrow.


LL/Pony:
Taiwan won it's opening game against China 22-1 in the AP Regional LL tourney.

Taiwan also won it's first game in the Bronco Division of the AP Regional tourney. Taiwan shutout Hong Kong 29-0. Taipei City lost to Japan 9-0 in the day's other action.
