Wang Wins # 2 and the Return of the "Shoe"

Wang won his second game of the season over the Texas Rangers. Wang pitched 6 innings, giving up 3 earned runs on 7 hits. Wang pitched well until the 6th inning when he got tagged for 3 hits and 2 runs. Despite his troubles in the 6th, the Yanks offense was able to spot Wang a comfortable lead throughout the game. Ming-Chieh Hsu pitched in his first NPB game of the season. Hsu, who only appeared in 4 games in all of 2005 for the Seibu Lions while recovering from a shoulder injury, had been performing well for the Lion's ni-gun team this year. Hsu pitched 2 innings against the Hawks and gave up 2 earned runs on 4 hits. Box

In AAA, Kuo picked up his first save for Vegas as he went 1.1 innings and K'd 1. Box

In AA, Hu's team got blanked 11-0. Despite going 1-4 with a walk, Hu actually improved his average to .237. Box

At the A+ level, Chen continued his hot hitting streak by going 2-5 with a RBI. Box
